Lone Star State Bank of West Texas is a full-service bank with locations in Lubbock, Odessa, and Big Spring. Meet Our People
	Alan Lackey Chairman of the Board and CEO Alan is in charge of all aspects of Lone Star and provides leadership and strategic direction to the staff. He is a lifelong banker with most of his experience having been as a commercial lender and manager of the credit function. Melisa Roberts Chief Lending Officer Melisa’s primary role is to oversee the lending function of Lone Star. She is instrumental in developing policies to promote prudent, effective lending. Melisa interacts with the lending staff at all phases of the credit process. Edmund McGee Chief Financial Officer Ed is responsible for finance and administration. His background, as a Certified Public Accountant, has been in accounting and risk management. Lestie Glover Chief Operations Officer Lestie is in charge of bank operations. She is also responsible for regulatory and legal compliance.










Lubbock Market
	Kirk Thomas President Kirk has spent his entire career serving customers in and around Lubbock. His market focus is on agricultural customers including production agriculture and agribusinesses. Nanette Deso Senior Vice President Nanette’s expertise is real estate lending. She too has devoted her career to customers in Lubbock. Steve Yandell Senior Vice President A native of Lubbock, Steve is active in real estate lending as well as commercial lending. Johanna Shaffer Assistant Vice President Johanna has dual roles as both a commercial and personal banker. David Sanchez Assistant Vice President David is a commercial lender with a variety of experience serving retail, wholesale and manufacturing clients.
Odessa Market
	Brent Beakley President Brent oversees Lone Star State Bank in Odessa and is Lone Star’s Energy Lending expert. With 24 years in the banking industry, Brent has an expansive range of experience in Oil & Gas and Commercial Lending and understands the commercial banking needs of West Texans. Mara Barham Senior Vice President Mara has a vast amount of banking experience in excess of 23 years. Her industry expertise consists of Commercial, Real Estate, Medical and Oil & Gas lending. Linda Crutcher Vice President Retail Banking Linda is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the financial industry with approximately 14 years of experience in banking. Ashlee Thompson Assistant Vice President A long time resident of Odessa, Ashlee has a broad range of experience in Commercial Lending, Private Banking and Treasury Management Services.











Big Spring Market
	Ron Brooks President Ron oversees all aspects of banking for Lone Star in the Big Spring market. He is a native of Howard county and has served his entire banking career in Big Spring. He has 13 years of commercial lending experience, with a market focus on production agriculture.





Organization
	Lone Star State Bank of West Texas was founded December 3, 2007. Chartered by the Texas Department of Banking, Lone Star is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lone Star State Bancshares and is the only bank belonging to this holding company. Lone Star State Bank was chartered as a de novo bank meaning that it began operations as a new institution, not through the acquisition of another bank. The ownership of Lone Star consists, quite simply, of people who live and do business in West Texas. There are no institutional investors involved in Lone star, just local people who believe in the unique opportunities to be involved in a new bank with compelling opportunities to grow by excelling in the art of banking.

	Lone Star State Bank was organized by a group of bankers who have devoted their entire careers to serving customers in West Texas. Many institutions in West Texas divide their attention among other areas of the state and even other areas of the U.S. and world. Lone Star has been established with a commitment to keep our complete focus and attention on this place we call home – West Texas.
